I met many incredible and wonderful people

Last month I was in Costinesti (Romania) at a youth chance about young entrepreneurs where I spent a week with activities (by groups we set up our own company..., mine for example was the development of an application; in which you had to create a video promoting, we had to make budgets to be able to set up our own company...) group work and of course, intercultural nights where each country had our opportunity to talk about our cultures and customs.

It was a great experience, there I met many incredible and wonderful people from whom I have learned a lot.

It was not my first project, but it was my first time as a team leader. I was a little worried and nervous, the truth is that it was quite a big responsibility but thanks to the support of the coordinators and facilitators it was very easy for me.

I also had the great opportunity to live a national and important day for the country that welcomed us and received us.

I have learned a lot in this project, since I did not have much idea about marketing or finance.

Thanks to the ODESA organization for this great experience.

It was full of emotions for me!

The "Young Entrepreneurs" project was a successful youth exchange program that took place in Costinesti, Romania between November 24th and December 4th 2022. The project aimed to develop the entrepreneurial spirit and increase the level of entrepreneurial and employment competences in young people aged 18-30.

The project brought us together from different countries such as Spain, Italy, Romania, Greece and my lovely team Turkey. We started our days in the project by playing the songs chosen by one of us every day, reading our gossip box, and of course we continued with our energizers. The energizers were very enjoyable, we started the day spiritually and physically refreshed, and we continued to create our start-up with our teams. During this exchange, we developed knowledge and core competencies in the field of entrepreneurship and employability. We drafted and presented 6 business plans with our teams.

In the evenings, at culture nights and events, we got to know different countries, we learned each others dances. Despite the coldness of Costineşti, it was the warmest project team I've ever known and I still miss everyone there incredibly. It was full of emotions for me. I learned so much and I met with great people there.

Thank you so much, "Young Entrepreneurs"!

I mentally still haven't passed the Erasmus+ that I did in Costinesti

A month has passed and I mentally still haven't passed the Erasmus + that I did in Costinesti (Romania). I had never heard the existence of this type of program until one day, my friend Carmen suggested me to apply for this project, which was on the topic "Young Entrepreneurs". Without hesitation, I quickly wrote to the email she provided me to receive more information. The next morning I was admitted and three weeks later I was doing my Erasmus in Romania.

This experience exceeded all my expectations across the board. I would never have imagined learning so much in such a short time, and also, all in English (Blessed common language).

The first days were based on forming and learning about the knowledge of the other members. Three or four days later, we entered more into context, making a brand prototype which was perfectly possible to make it real. We had to realize the creative idea of the project from the beginning to the end. All this under the mentality of people with a different education and nationality. It was one of the most enriching experiences that I have never had.

But, doubtless, what I take the most from the project are all those people I met. Erasmus came to me at the most appropriate time since my life in Spain is quite stressful.

Romania has undoubtedly been the piece of the puzzle that I was missing and the beginning of a universe to explore.

Thanks Romania. Thanks Erasmus+

I found the project itself and the topic so interesting, beneficial and profitable

I'm Carmen Vinuesa, one of the participants of the youth exchange that occurred from November 24th to December 4th. I'm actually writing to you guys with the pretext of the dissemination assignment.

First of all, I'm so sorry about the delay; I've been thinking about it for so long now, and it's not that I have forgiven about it but that I hadn't found the way to properly do it.

To begin with, since the very first moment I came back from Romania, I've been telling everybody close to me about it. Not only my friends in my hometown during NYE, as I promised, but everybody else I've had the opportunity to meet with since December 4th. I've been talking about it with my 3 flatmates in Segovia, where I study, with my group of friends from university and also with a bunch of people I know from here and there.
I found the project itself and the topic so interesting, beneficial and profitable that I honestly couldn't stop mentioning it. Every time I was conversing about it with my relatives (not only friends but also with my young cousins, parents and even my grandparents!) I showed how fruitful and enjoyable the whole experience was for me.

I got to learn SO much... not only from those who surrounded me, from their personal vivences and experiences, but also from the actual topic. Please don't misinterpret me... I was totally sure that I would learn a lot about the other participants of the project, but about entrepreneurship... I wasn't expecting to learn that much as I knew almost nothing about it, but I definitely earned MUCH more knowledge than I expected. This was, for sure, a total surprise, as I haven't really ever pictured myself as a real entrepreneur; however, that totally changed after getting involved in all your activities, actions and initiatives.
After all that, I perceived a whole different vision about the topic and started considering it as a real option for my future.
Furthermore, what I also found incredible was the fact that the whole trip was totally free to us!! Isn't that crazy? The fact that there are groups of people willing to help the youngsters by improving our educational and social skills...

It's just amazing, especially because adults sometimes seem to forget they were also young some time ago, and they would have probably been thankful for having been given a hand in some aspects.

On the other hand, I wrote a pretty similar description/caption for a post in my second instagram account (one that my closest friends have access to, which is more useful than the normal one as I know they're probably paying more attention to it). In that post I added some pictures from the project, including many of all of us wearing the ODES red tee and hanging the ODES flag. Of course, they have all witnessed that it is financed by the UE funds. And about the attached photos: these were also some of the moments during the last few weeks while I was talking about this youth exchange:

- the 1st one: my sister and I convincing my cousins to do an exchange like this.
- the 2nd one: my hometown friends being amazed by the experience when listening to me talking about the program.
- the 3rd one: two more hometown friends, same activity.
- the 4th one: my flatmates and I at home the day I came back and I finally got the chance to explain everything to them.
- the 5th one: bunch of friends from uni, right before dinner I had shown them pictures on tv.

All that said, I must add that I feel BEYOND grateful to you guys, truly, for the opportunity you gave me when participating in this Young Entrepreneurs! program.

Best wishes and kind regards (oh, happy new year),

Carmen [ES]

We taught one another. We learned from one another. We formed bonds, lasting friendships. We grew as people.
