Greek Intercultural Evening

In this session we had the opportunity to see some of the most important things of the Greek culture.

They present to us the meaning of their flag and also how Greek language influenced the world.

After the presentation we tasted some traditional cuisine.

Business Talks! 2.0

Ιn today's session we had the amazing opportunity to witness the presentation of each team's businesses.

Each group had to manage explaining new information about their businesses in just 5-6 minutes.

Our time management skills are getting better and better thanks to the facilitators.

Looking forward to see what's coming next.

Business Talks (Financial Times)

In this sessions we did research about financial part of businnesses. We learnt about distributing outcomes and creating a budget.

Description: In this activity, the working groups discussed, debated and chose, based on the points provided by the facilitator, the sources of financing and the budget necessary for the establishment of new companies.

Business Talks (Target groups)

Our sixth day in this project started with the usual routine. Gossips read, songs listened to, and energizers played.

We then received our first tasks and began working on our business ideas: target groups and the distribution process. As we were captivated by the flow of the exercise, this session felt rather short.

To sum up, we were distributed in the same working groups and we were discussed, debated and chosed, based on the elements provided by the facilitator: the target group, the distribution networks, the promotion and the prices that our new companies will charge for the products/services offered/provided.

Regardless, it was fun. ❤️

Spanish Intercultural Evening

The last session of the day was all about Spain.

The Spanish cultural night started with a presentation about the country and the origins of the participants.

Continued with tasting delicious food and Sangria and ended with dance.

And then we played kahoot and did some national dances.

Business Talks (new business ideas - brainstorming)

On the third session of our fourth day in this project, we started things with 2 games. The musical chairs being the first and another game we don’t know the name of the second.
Second game was especially relevant to our topic, as it underlined the importance of concepts such as time management, communication, market competition and crisis management.

Finally, we were separated into 5 diverse groups and began our preparations for our business ideas. Overall, this session was one of the most fun ones yet.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED IN A BUSINESS?

The "study to a local business" activity was organized right inside the hotel where we were acommodated. The special "guest" was the hotel owner who shared his story with us and offered us some "tips & tricks" about government programs that support the inclusion of young people and foreigners in the labor market.

Türkiye Intercultural Evening

The organization of cultural evenings (evening program including the sending NGO presentation, the presentation of the country, customs, traditional music, dances, clothes and traditional food) allowed the participants to come into direct contact with other cultures, thus supporting the intercultural exchange of values, customs and traditions. This opened them to learn new things and a better understanding of other cultures.

We ended the night with a rather intriguing and exciting cultural event by the Turkish team. We had the opportunity to taste some of their traditional dishes, played games and danced a LOT. A great closing ceremony, to a great day here in Costinesti.

The Turkish team had food from the areas of Turkey where they came from, they presented us with specific dances and they prepared a Kahoot contest for us, with prizes for the first 3 winners.

All participants received the "blue eye" to put on their clothes against "evil".

We had henna, with which we made different non-permanent tattoos.

How/ Why to start a business?

Divided into national groups, the participants were asked to make a presentation of the entrepreneurship situation in their country. To come with concrete data about what entrepreneurship means in their country, if there is support for young people from the state or European Programmes, where they can finance themselves as young people, if they know young entrepreneurs who are famous in their country.

For presentation: Each country had 13 minutes to present and 5 minutes for Q&A. They could use whatever materials they wanted for the presentations: flip-chart sheets, colors or they could make the presentation online using the presentation projector.

Tips & Tricks:
- special legislation regarding young entrepreneurs
- special government funds/help for young entrepreneurs
- other sources to get funds
- advantages and obstacles young entrepreneurs face in your country
- main domains young people like to start a business in
- can you tell us a success story of a young entrepreneur in your country?

A large part of the presentations were made in electronic format, projected on the TV in the activity room and presented by the team members. There were questions in each country. Young people being very curious about existing similarities and differences.
They had the chance to learn about the business situation in other countries and make comparison.

Following the similarities and differences identified in the 5 participating countries, a debate followed on "how/why to start a business?", trying to identify positive aspects, but also to identify some of the risks that may appear in this process.

Electronic presentation: Romania, Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkiye.

Drama time: what entrepreneurship is?

On the first session of our third day in this project, we, as a group, presented our short plays, which we’d fully created and prepared for, during the last 30 minutes of the session.

We were divided into 4 mixed working groups, discussed our own ideas regarding the concept of entrepreneurship and had to identify ways of expressing the concept of entrepreneurship through a role-play (a different play for each group). We had 60 minutes to prepare the plays and 5 minutes to present different situations that can appear in a business: 2 positive, 2 negative

Each of the 4 groups we formed on the spot had a different topic to work on, based around entrepreneurship.

At the end of the presentations, we had a discussion in the large group about the chosen situations and about the positive and negative examples we saw.

Overall, the fun and the work, this session had it all.

We taught one another. We learned from one another. We formed bonds, lasting friendships. We grew as people.
