We woke up, ate breakfast and headed straight to the bus.
We arrived to Constanta after 40 minutes!
Moody atmosphere, cold weather, but full of excitement. As it was the national day of Romania, we had the chance to enjoy the local parade but to also complete our tasks simultaneously.
Honor, sense of pride, values of ancestor that were passed down. This is what it means to be Romanian according to the answers we got from the locals as it was part of one of our tasks. Exploring the city divided into teams, had fun and ate the local cusine.
We found out that Constanta was named Tomis during Ovidiu's time. We also visited 5togo, one of the largest cafe chains in Romania.
- The name of the city in the past was Tomis and a fact about the city is that the population is around 300.000 people.
- Successful shipping companies: SOCEP, JSP and Maersk. The area has also wineries.
- The locals told us that the city offers too many opportunities and they were born and want to live in the same city.
Overall a pretty good way to comprehend the city.
